Hand to Hand Combat

Hand to hand combat training reveals the true approach of SYSTEMA that allows you to face all aspects of self-defense. Progressive exercises are held to develop resistance, sensitivity, strength; Particular attention is paid to the handling and use of the strikes: you learn to "accept" the strikes and control them, for this reason, no protections and / or strikers are used.

The main goal is the conscious use of the body to gain control in defense and attack against any kind of aggressive bare hands, with particular attention to breathing, continuity of movement and emotional control (fear).

Ground-work and Ground-fighting

In Systema is essential understanding the movement and the groundbreaking study in dealing with each attack, from all angles and positions, managing multiple opponents, and disarming from the ground. 

They face both opponents fighting on the ground, as well as defense / ground attack against standing assailants. The use of breathing techniques and stress management to prevent/manage injuries and to strengthen the body and the psyche.

Weapons

In Systema great attention is paid to weapons.
You will learn the use of various weapons such as, sword, knife, stick, chain and whip.
Weapons in the Systema are adopted for two purposes: as "instruments" and as defense / offense objects.
In fact, through the use of weapons, you learn to move more precisely, smoothly and reactive: weapons are an effective tool for verifying your degree of rigidity and leanness.
You will also learn the use of "improvised" weapons: daily use tools (jacket, sweater, belt, etc.) that can help us remedy a sudden aggression.

In addition, the use of weapons fulfills a precise and additional purpose: study and management of fear.
We train not only to deal with armed aggressors, but also to use these items to deal with and manage their rigidity, tension, anxiety and vulnerability.

Warm up exercises
